The check covers WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat and X, plus a general web check — 63 short questions in total, including dedicated Scam Sense and Password Safety sections. Four Simple Steps
No downloads, no account, no cost. All you need is your phone and honest answers.
1. Pick Your Role and Platforms
Choose the role that fits you — student, teacher, parent or guardian, job seeker, employee, business owner or content creator — then pick the platforms you use. A general web check is always included.
2. Answer Honestly
Short questions about your privacy settings, posts, followers and password habits, including Scam Sense and Password Safety sections. There are no wrong answers — honest ones simply give you a truer report.
3. Get Your Report
A plain-language red, amber and green report, section by section: green where you are well protected, amber where you should take a second look, and red where a stranger can see more than you would want.
4. Clean Up, Guided
Work through your fixes one at a time in guided cleanup mode. Every fix links straight to that platform’s privacy settings, so you change the real setting on your real account — not just read about it.

No Account, No Passwords
There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log in to. FootprintCheck never asks for your password on any platform — and you should never enter one into a tool like this.
Nothing Is Scanned
This is a guided self-check, not a scanner. FootprintCheck cannot see inside your accounts and does not monitor you; it only works with what you tell it during the check.
Answers Stay on Your Device
Your answers are held only on your phone or computer while you use the tool, and they are erased when you close the page. Harmony Digital Consults cannot see them.
No Cookies, No Trackers
The check runs without advertising trackers following you around the internet. A tool about privacy should not trade in yours.
One optional extra: at the start, you may choose to share an anonymous usage tally — just your role, your language, and how many green, amber and red answers you received. It never includes your name, your individual answers, or anything that can identify you, and the check works fully without it.
